Hello!
This is the first entry to my 30 day sketching project.
My first subject was cats.
I filled up about 7 or 8 pages with sketches. And here they are.
I am pretty happy with my drawings that I did from reference. I feel like my ability to draw the things I see, has improved a lot over time.
However, obviously the ones from my imagination are either massively simplified or really bad.
So, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.
And that is something that I really want to get better at. Just being able to understand and depict something from my mind would be an amazing skill to master.
It takes a ton of time, effort and bad drawings but that is why they made drawing fun. So it’s easy to stick with even when you suck.
Big art inspirations for me right now are people who can do just that. Imagine different objects, people, and animals from different angles and in different poses, and just draw it.
Crazy skill and I hope to be able to do it with some competence someday.
